Funny T-Shirts for Car Guys and Mechanics

The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is composed of approximately 48 artists, screen printers, art technicians, logistics professionals, embroiderers, and support staff, all operating out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. We proudly design, print, and embroider the majority of our products completely in our Ann Arbor, MI factory.

The company grew from a dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. What makes our products unique is that our workers receive fair wages, healthcare, 401k matches, and meals. Machines, inks, and most inputs are U.S. sourced, and shirts are mostly made of U.S. cotton. Producing in-house allows us to maintain high quality while keeping prices low.

We love giving people fun ways to express themselves and strike up conversations with their neighbors. The Perfect Tee for the True Gearhead is one such product that is sure to get a laugh from mechanics, collectors, racing enthusiasts, or garage dwellers.

This shirt is made of 100% Cotton and features a modern fit that is slightly tapered to be a little less boxy, with a tighter chest and shoulders. The super soft, ringspun, 30/1 fine jersey knit material is sourced from USA-grown cotton. The garment includes a tearaway tag that can be easily removed without damaging the stitching.

We have company soccer and kickball teams, catered employee lunches, health insurance, a 401k match, and quarterly company parties around town.
